From March 2016 till the moment the capacity of 50 MW from renewable power plants was installed by private sectors in the country.
According to the relation affairs of renewable energy organization of Iran (SUNA), this capacity was installed in the line with the partnership of private sectors for the development of renewable energy in the country and through signing the guaranteed power purchase contract with SUNA. One of the properties of these projects is not using the governmental funds.
This report adds the installed power plants are as follow: solar power plant of Fars and Amir Kabir with the total capacity of 14 MW was installed by Mad Rah Abrisham Company in Hamedan province. Kahak 3 wind power plant with the capacity of 17.5 MW that will rech to 30 MW till the end of March 2017, was installed by Mapna Company in Ghazvin province. Biomass power plant with the capacity of 3 MW was installed in Tehran by Tadbir, Tose-e, Salamat Company. Biomass power plant with the capacity of 1.9 MW in Tehran by Tim Kian Company. Hydro power plant with the capacity of 10 MW was installed in the province Kordestan by Farab Company. 500 KW solar power plant in Khorasan province which is going to be 5 MW till the end of this year, this power plant was installed by Negin Setareh Marzi Taibad Shayan Company. 240 KW hydro power plants in the Markazi province was installed by Parsian Nano Danesh Company. Solar power plant with the capacity of 230 KW in Qom province which also reaches to the capacity of 5 MW by the end of this year, this power plant was installed by Pak Bana Company. 170 KW hydro power plant was installed in Lorestan province by Pardisan Sazeh Tarahan. The total capacity of installed solar power plants by subscribers in all the country reaches to 2.4 MW.
It is worth mentioning that as announced by the renewable energy organization of Iran by the end of March 2017, the capacity of 100 MW from renewable power plants will be connected to the grid. This information was about the 50 MW of this capacity and the rest will be completed by the end of March. In the past the total capacity of renewable power plants in the country that were installed by the private sectors was only 70 MW.
